    Review for Keurig® Platinum B70 Gourmet Single Cup Coffee & Tea Brewing System Added Value: 60 K-Cups & My K-Cup Reusable Filter This is PERFECT if you are an everyday or even casual coffee drinker. I love to make cold coffee with it. I got a huge assortment of the keurig cups and have been using them a few times a week. Every flavor I have tried so far has been good. The coffee maker itself works flawlessly. My only complaint is that it's sort of hit or miss on how good the coffee will taste when you go to the larger cup sizes. I like to brew the normal size first then re-brew and see if it still holds flavor.

    Also, I don't like how expensive the cups are. While, I have a lot of cups right now, I have a feeling if I used this more frequently I'd be spending way more money. I do have the my k-cup so I will probably end up using that.

    I rated this 5 stars because the coffee maker itself is great. Works great, I love how I can fill it up with a lot of water and make a few cups any time I want. Very easy to use. It came with 60 k-cups and while they aren't the more desired flavors (to me), they are still good to get a feel for the coffee maker with.

    That's what you will get if you order the Kaldi directly from CBTL. If you order the Kaldi from Amazon, you get a sleeve of House Brew Coffee, a sleeve of Espresso Premium, and a sleeve of English Breakfast Tea.

    I contacted CBTL directly to find out if I could purchase a sampler of the capsules so I could try all the varieties, but they do not sell the samplers without the purchase of a machine from their site.

    At the time of my purchase, Amazon also included the following selling point for the Kaldi: "The only single-cup machine that makes great coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and espresso." A search on Amazon and at CTBL yields no results for hot chocolate beverage capsules. So I asked the CBTL rep, Melissa, about hot chocolate beverage capsules and she advised that they were working on hot chocolate for the Americano machine only (availabe through CBTL and/or Bed Bath and Beyond).

    Regarding the actual machine, I'm not sure that it is any better than my Tassimo 6515. The Tassimo has a filtration system. The CBTL Kaldi does not. I also like the fact that the Tassimo reads each barcode on the T-Discs prior to dispensing your beverage. Something about this process makes me feel like the Tassimo machine may be more technological.

    The Kaldi does have a smaller footprint than the Tassimo 6515. But that also means a smaller water reservoir, which translates to more frequent fill ups. Because the Kaldi does not have a filtration system, you must use filtered water, which adds to the expense per cup.

    At $21.92 for a pack of 3 sleeves of coffee (10 capsules per sleeve), a cup of coffee in the Kaldi will cost you approximately $.73 per cup. My regular cup of coffee in the Tassimo (Jacobs Kronung @ $24.35 for 32 T-Discs) runs approximately $.77 per cup. This is a savings of $.04 per cup...

    Pro:
    -From what I hear, the customer service is there to help 24/7 if you have any problems or questions.
    -Although this machine wont auto brew in the morning, the turning on off feature works well to get it warmed up ready for 20second cup of coffee.
    -If you dont drink coffee?? No problem, I didnt either, it took me awhile to build up to it. It also does an amazing job with tea and hot chocolate!

    Con:

    Dunkin k-cup hard to find if you dont live near any dunkin. I travel and buy bulk. Amazing carries other good k-cups like donut shop is also a favorite.

    *Do not forget, if you leave a k-cup in, and turn off your system, you have to open the clamp and shut it again in order to brew. This one took me a little bit to figure out, but doesn't take away from the machine at all.

    Review for Hamilton Beach Single Serve Scoop Coffee Maker (Kitchen) I've been a long time user of personal brewers - two pod/cup type machines one well known, one lesser known. My problem with them both is that using your own coffee (I have my non pod favorite!) produces a mess and/or very weak coffee. They simply don't hold the right coffee/water ratio to produce what I would consider an excellent cup of coffee.

    I recently spied this machine and immediately liked that it was non proprietary, read the former reviews, looked at the price tag and was skeptical - how good could it be for under $60 when its rival starts at $100? I finally brought one home and I'm sold! Using the "bold" setting it made even a decaf coffee nice and strong and it reminded me of the results that I get with my French Press - full bodied, rich & flavorful.

    I like that the basket for the coffee is nice and deep and easy to fill. The water resevoir is easily filled. It holds an ample 14 oz. of water - you get out what you put in so playing with the measurement and grind of your favorite coffee takes some perfecting. The brewer starts immediately, the light goes out signaling it is finished brewing. It is a tad faster than the mini version of the more popular single cupper. The coffee comes out hot. I haven't seen any issues with leaking, spraying, etc. Hamilton Beach was also thinking when the made the drip tray so that it flips over and fills the space to a smaller cup size.

    I'd add some cons but really there isn't anything that I dislike about this machine.

    Review for Cuisinart SS-700 Single Serve Brewing System, Silver - Powered by Keurig (Kitchen) I have been using a Keurig Platinum Machine for about a year now and had to replace it 2 times. Once for both hot and cold water draining out of the bottom of the unit and the second for making expresso size cups when I asked for the 11.25 oz. cup. I returned the Keurig and got this Brand New Cuisinart about 3 weeks ago. It works great, the water container is larger and the max cup size is 12oz. I get great cups of coffee and the machine works beautifully. I use regular tap water with the charcoal filters and the coffee taste is super. So far this machine is the best I have had and I think Cuisinart makes a superior product every time. You can make your own Kcups since Cuisinart has included one in the side of the machine for your delight at no extra cost.

    Review for Coffee Storage Drawer for Keurig Brewers Holds 30 Single Serve K-cup Pods I bought this product and received it last week. Its one of the best Keurig drawers to be made. It has a nice easy clean black finish and seems much more solid and durable then the cheap looking grey one sold here and at Bed Bath Beyond.
    What I like is that this unit slides on a counter top, I can effortlessly pull my machine closer to the counter edge to view my coffee closer up. I never had any issue with any K-cups getting stuck in there. If you pull it out gently you'll have no issue.

    I added these to my Amazon wish list so that I'll remember to buy them as holiday gifts. Hope item stays in stock, as this product seems pretty popular these days.
